Passenger dies after St. Andrews Road crash in Richland County

A Tuesday crash on St. Andrews Road left three injured. One victim died on Thursday. Authorities are still investigating the cause.

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities say a passenger involved in a crash on St. Andrews Road on Tuesday has died.
Master Trooper William Bennett with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 1:45 p.m. in Richland County near the St. Andrews Road and Greenore Drive intersection. A 2011 Dodge SUV and a 2010 Chevrolet sedan were involved in the crash.
The driver of the eastbound Dodge and the driver and passenger of the westbound Chevrolet were all taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The passenger of the Chevrolet sedan died on Thursday from injuries they sustained in the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
